Notre Service قسمنا Our Department
Le Service de Chirurgie Viscérale et Digestive de l'Hôpital Régional de Tataouine rassemble une équipe de chirurgiens expérimentés, aux profils complémentaires et variés, animés par une exigence commune : offrir à chaque patient une prise en charge chirurgicale digne des meilleurs standards tunisiens.
L'équipe s'investit sans relâche pour faire progresser les pratiques et développer la chirurgie mini-invasive, repoussant les limites de ce qui est possible dans une structure régionale — au bénéfice direct des patients de Tataouine et des régions voisines.
Le service assume une triple mission : soins de haute qualité, formation des étudiants et résidents en médecine, et recherche académique. Un engagement collectif reconnu par l'obtention du statut de service hospitalo-universitaire en décembre 2019.
يضمّ قسم جراحة الجهاز الهضمي والأمعاء بالمستشفى الجهوي بتطاوين فريقاً من الجراحين ذوي الخبرة والكفاءات المتكاملة والمتنوعة، يجمعهم هدف واحد: تقديم رعاية جراحية ترقى إلى أعلى المعايير التونسية لكل مريض.
يعمل الفريق بلا كلل على تطوير الممارسات والنهوض بـ الجراحة طفيفة التوغل بالمنظار الجراحي، ساعياً إلى تجاوز حدود ما هو ممكن في إطار مستشفى جهوي — وذلك في خدمة مرضى تطاوين والمناطق المجاورة مباشرةً.
يضطلع القسم بثلاثة مهام متكاملة: الرعاية الصحية عالية الجودة، وتكوين الطلبة والمقيمين في الطب، والبحث العلمي الأكاديمي. وقد جاء حصوله على صفة القسم الجامعي الاستشفائي في ديسمبر 2019 تتويجاً طبيعياً لهذا الالتزام الجماعي.
The Department of Visceral and Digestive Surgery at Tataouine Regional Hospital brings together a team of experienced surgeons with complementary and diverse profiles, united by a single goal: delivering surgical care that meets the highest Tunisian standards for every patient.
The team works tirelessly to advance practices and develop minimally invasive surgery, pushing the boundaries of what is possible within a regional hospital — directly serving the patients of Tataouine and the surrounding regions.
The department fulfills three interrelated missions: high-quality patient care, training of medical students and residents, and academic research. Its recognition as a University Hospital Department in December 2019 stands as a natural culmination of this collective commitment.

For surgical emergencies, the department is available 24/7 through the Emergency Department of Tataouine Regional Hospital.
